The Continuing Education Program is Up and Running!

You can now sample courses when you click on to the  on line web site.

The on-line camelid continuing education program is available at
www.vet.k-state.edu/onlinece/index.aspx, as promised, and fourteen months ahead of schedule.

The current menu includes courses in herd health, reproduction, neonatology, nutrition, medicine and surgery. All courses carry full accreditation for veterinarian continuing education, administered through Kansas State University.  Large and small animal veterinarians now will have a growing library of on line education courses focused on camelid medicine.

Alpaca owners and veterinary technicians can also access this programming. Courses are identified by the letters O, B, or V.  O indicates seminar material is suitable for all levels of experience, including beginners and new owners.  B indicates seminar material is suitable for advanced levels of experience, including Llama and Alpaca breeders.  V indicates seminar material is suitable for licensed veterinarians.
